The Beginning
It all begins with a spark, in 1984. In an era when craftsmanship was the only known form of production. Market stalls were the showcase of this art form that adorned the streets of Florence. We claimed our place in the heart of this historic city.
The Growth
From the stalls to the most prestigious streets of Rome's historic centre. We carried with us the teachings and quality of Florence to offer them to the millions of people who gaze upon Rome's greatest monuments.
Florence is the mind.
It is the structure, the impeccable technique, the Renaissance "box". To Florence we owe respect for proportion, the chemistry of tannins, the obsession with stitching that must withstand tension. It is the geometry that sustains beauty.
The Rigour
Rome is the heart.
It is the welcome of Via dei Coronari at sunset. It is "La Dolce Vita". Rome took Florence's technical rigour and warmed it in the sun. It made shapes soft, human, imperfect — and for that, irresistible.
